University Admission Requirements
Minimum university entry requirements
a) Masters’ Programme
The following is the eligibility criteria for the Masters’ Degree in the University:
i.    A holder of a first class or a second class Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
ii.    Candidate who has obtained a first class or second class degree or an equivalent qualification from another institution recognized by the University of Embu (UoEm) as being of comparable academic status from an accredited institution.
iii.    In exceptional cases, the Senate may also admit to the Master’s programme, non-holders of a first degree provided such candidates can, on the basis of the research and academic work they have done, show that they are well qualified to undertake postgraduate work, by passing qualifying examinations.
