My research interests focus on materials science. The connections between quantum information, quantum computation, nanotechnology and application in chemistry; the or etic al studies of energy and charge transfer in thermoelectric/photocatalytic complexes and renewable energy m ate rials; methods development f or electronic structure theory: first-principles methods, density functional theory, and quantum Monte Carlo docking studies; as well as development of the Clean Energy/Degradation of Pollutants Projects.
